Together Mode in Microsoft Teams is a feature designed to enhance online meetings by creating a shared background that makes participants appear as they are seated in a virtual auditorium or similar setting.
This mode aims to show a sense of connection and collaboration by placing attendees in a single virtual environment, reducing the feeling of being in separate spaces.

  1. To use the Together mode, when you are in a meeting, click on View button from the nav bar.
  1. From the drop-down menu, choose Together mode.
  1. Then a new window will open where you can select a scene from.
  1. You can also choose to assign seats by clicking on Assign seats button at the bottom of the screen.
  1. In here, you can search for participants to add to the seat.
  1. To add a participant to a seat, hold the participant’s name and add it to a seat of your own.
  1. When you are done adding participants, click on Assign.

You should now be familiar with using the Together mode in Microsoft Teams.
