In Brightspace, there exists a type of question that can automatically generate numbers for a calculation style question so that every time you open the quiz, the question is different and has a different answer. This is known as an arithmetic question.

Usually, students will only try questions once as they already know the answer. This allows students to have multiple attempts for a question and have different answers every time.

Below is a short video showing you how to create these arithmetic questions.
